Tonight (March 28, 2009) is Earth Hour, from 8:30 PM – 9:30 PM. People around the globe will turn their lights off to save energy and our planet. And the creator of this event (World Wildlife Fund) is targeting 1 billion votes “which will be presented to world leaders at the Global Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen 2009.” (Source: Earth Hour)

Anyone here in Jersey City doing this?

I don’t know how our city (particularly in Downtown) responded to this event last year, but our neighbor across Hudson – New York City, will be participating tonight.

So while we are waiting for May elections, maybe we can Vote for Earth tonight by switching your lights off. Are you in?
