Here’s a quick refreshment “recipe” from my “Betty Crocker’s Cooking Basic” book. It’s one of my faves, as it is very easy to make, as long as you have the ingredients and equipment (blender) ready. This will only take five minutes to prepare and serve. Makes 4 servings (about 1 cup each).

Ingredients:
* 2 cups (1 pint) strawberries
* 1 cup of milk
* 2 containers (6 ounces each) strawberry yogurt (2/3 cup)

Directions:
1. Reserve 4 strawberries for the garnish. Cut out the hull, or “cap”, from the remaining strawberries with the point of a parting knife.

2. Place strawberries, milk and yogurt in a blender. Cover and blend on high speed about 30 seconds or until smooth.

3. Pour mixture into 4 glasses. Garnish each with a strawberry.

Enjoy your smoothie!
