<p>[<strong>Original Post: 2AM</strong>]More than a thousand people attended the <a href="http://journalsquarejc.com/archives/2057">wake</a> of the fallen Jersey City Detective Marc DiNardo yesterday at McLaughlin Funeral Home in <a href="http://journalsquarejc.com/">Journal Square</a>. He was shot in a shootout last week and died last Tuesday.</p>
<p>He is survived by his wife Mary and three young children (ages 4, 3, 1).</p>

<p>From McLaughlin Funeral Home,  DiNardo&#8217;s casket will be brought to <a href="http://staedanparish.com">St. Aedan</a>&#8216;s Church on Bergen Avenue for a <a href="http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2009/07/nj_mourners_pay_their_respects.html">funeral mass</a> that will begin at 1030AM. Streets surrounding the funeral house and St. Aedan&#8217;s church are shut down and no-parking zones on some streets are in effect as heavy turnouts are expected.</p>
