Next week – May 24, 2009 – a Santacruzan will be held in Downtown, Jersey City. It is a day-long Filipino street fair and festival with various performances, live bands, booths and it will be highlighted by a religious procession in honor of the Virgin Mary.

Taken last May 10th, at Sheraton Newark Hotel during the 30th Santacruzan Ball. I can only recognize two reynas – Maricelle Rodriguez (middle) and Stephanie Cardenas (right).
