Strong winds and rain not only ruin one&#8217;s hairdo, they also destroy lots of umbrellas! Usually, smaller umbrellas bought from .99c store fall victim to the wicked weather, but look at the photos and see how big umbrellas don&#8217;t survive.</p>

<p>See the &#8220;<strong>New Journal Square</strong>&#8221; banners hanging on the lightpost? They were <a href="http://www.jcregister.com/2008/04/05/provident-bank-donates-the-new-journal-square-banners.html"><strong>donated</strong></a> by the Provident Bank. </p>
<p>I wonder how was it at the PATH Train station 2 days after it was <a href="http://www.jcregister.com/2008/04/30/fire-suspends-path-service-again.html"><strong>suspended</strong></a> due to the Christopher Street fire. </p>
