Long retired, the Colgate Clock in Jersey City sits in a weedy field by the Morris Canal. Life goes on in Lower Manhattan on a dreary winter day as the World Trade Center grows taller. The first “Everyhing Jersey City Festival” happened exactly a week ago (May 17, 2008). As expected, parking was terrible. The traffic (on parallel road like Summit Avenue) was slow-moving as some of the roads were barricaded by the police.

Sunset at Lincoln Park

Photos taken at 750PM today. People were enjoying the nice 70 degrees weather at Lincoln Park, Jersey City. If forecasts are accurate, tomorrow (May 14, 2008) will be the same or better, with temperature of 74 degrees F.

Newark Avenue Parking Lot Sign
