Apparently, there are numerous inquiries about Jersey city Parking, if street-sweeping and meters are in effect… well, they are all shut down according to the police.
I tried calling the Parking Authority, but they are closed.

Last week, I saw a van inconsiderately and illegally parked at a bus stop in Journal Square area of Jersey City in front of the Chinese store. Bus 87 arrived, but the bus driver had to park on one lane of the road.
