Jersey City Finance Department Abolished

Consider this post “fyi” ….
City Council abolished JC’s Finance Department because of redundancy in some position. However, the 68 employees of the said department will keep their job.
Also, the City Council is also doing some reorganization as they voted to put the Division of Traffic and Transportation under the Division of Engineering.

This old mansion at Summit Avenue and Manhattan Avenue was featured today on nj.com. I always pass by this house in the Heights area JC when I go to work in Union City, but I had no idea that it is century old already and it has a historical significance.
