Low-Flying Planes in Jersey City

Downtown Jersey City residents have witnessed planes/jets flying low across Hudson River, and some even evacuated their buildings. Reports say that these military jets “are part of a Department of Defense photo shoot and that there is no threat to the city.”

According to Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Jim Peters, this event should be finished by 1030AM today.

Just a heads-up if you are going to NY this evening: Holland Tunnel will be congested as it will be used by at least 1,500 motorcyclists headed to Little Italy in the big city.
