Gas Price = Milk Price?

I was at C-Town this afternoon buying stuff, and I was reminded of gas prices when I saw the price of milk per gallon. So I brought out my cellphone and took a snapshot:

NJ Gas Price, Cheapest in the Nation

I had read yesterday from NJ.com that our state has the cheapest gas price in the nation. It didn’t really surprise me.
The news reported that the average gas price in the country is $2.98, and in Garden State, a gallon is $2.82. That’s a huge difference.
