Any Jersey City residents driving northbound? Just want to let you know that US 1&9 is closed, according to njcommuter.com. Below is the reason why:

Weather for the Weekend (March 8 and 9, 2008)

The rain started to pour yesterday causing flooding in some NJ areas (was there any in Jersey City?). Rain continues today until this evening.
Tomorrow, March 9, 2008, the first day of Spring will be sunny but windy all-day long. The temperature will be in the 30’s but will feel like in the 20’s.

Traffic is good so far in Jersey City except for US 1 and 9, which is closed due to flooding, and one construction that JCRegister reported yesterday.
