Hello, I wanted to let you know the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology is going to be conducting a FREE asthma screening in Jersey City on May 17. The screening will take place from noon to 3:00 p.m. at Liberty Science Center (Liberty State Park, 222 Jersey City Blvd.) Is this anything you would add to your list of events? What Happens at The Screening?

• Registration – A person must fill out a registration form for basic information. Kids younger than 8 years old and below, parents can fill out the form for them
• Breath Test – The person will simply blow hard into the automated tube that is attached to a computer that measures one’s lung function.
• Review – A person will see and review the result of breath test. Other information will be asked by an allergist, and s/he will give recommendation.
