Looks like Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC), aka DMV Jersey City changed locations for some tests. If, for some reasons, you can’t read the sign on the picture above, here it is:

Anyway, you can spot the sign on the front window of MVC yourself. It is at the corner of Summit Avenue and Sip Avenue, 5-minute walk away from Journal Square (JSQ) PATH.

If you are driving to work, either in Jersey City, Hoboken, Union City or even NYC, expect a slow moving traffic in this area. If you are coming from Bergen Avenue going to Academy, you either have to turn left or right when you hit Summit Avenue. The pile up is greatest at this intersection.

Summit Avenue in the morning is busy, it will take you 10 minutes to get past the DMV office because a lot of motorists turn left going to the main road (Kennedy Boulevard). I suggest you leave at least 10 minutes early to avoid tardiness going to work.
