He has travelled across the US, and has visited several countries in South America, Australia, Europe, and Asia.

Yesterday, Tintin was in Downtown, JC, and he took some photos of JCFridays participants on Erie Street and Jersey Avenue.

The first two pictures are from WORLD OF STYLE VINTAGE and BALANCE SALON FOR HAIR BALANCE SALON FOR HAIR, which presented “Welcome to the Funhouse,” a surreal circus fashion show celebrating the kaleidescopic kraziness of Spring. Events: opening reception for Colleen Gutwein’s “Gossamer,” a colorful series of abstract self-portraits; fab light sculptures by our resident artist, Norm Francoeur! Address: 18 Erie St, 201-324-2992.

The next two are from FISH WITH BRAIDS GALLERY, which presented an Opening Reception for “Toilet Art” with live installation. The toilet, as a representative for its plumbing system, symbolizes in a subtle way the degree and development of human civilization. Address: 521 Jersey Ave, 201-451-4294.

This last one is from DUCK DUCK GOOSE, which presented a Free Face Paining Event. Duck Duck Goose is a children’s consignment and specialty boutique. Those who went there enjoyed yummy snacks, beverages and a free gift! Address: 16 Erie St, 201-432-2133. Unfortunately for Tintin, he was too late, as the shop was already closing when he passed by this place.
