Who goes to Twin City? Have you noticed the tree in front of the supermarket on Van Wagenen Avenue?
The first picture was captured by Google Maps. I’m not sure when it was taken, I am guessing around Fall of 2007.

The next photo was taken today. See the difference?

I am not sure what happened but we all know that Jersey City had a string of thunderstorms the past couple of weeks.
The tree losing branches: is it an act of man or a result of fortuitous event?

What is the Full Moon Illusion?
The moon illusion, as it’s known, is a trick in our minds that makes the moon seem bigger when it’s near the horizon. The effect is most pronounced at full moon. Many people swear it’s real, suggesting that perhaps Earth’s atmosphere magnifies the moon.
When is the Best Time To Look Up
Moonrise times vary by location. On Wednesday, it will come up at these local times at these locations, according to NASA: New York City, 8:58 p.m.; Miami, 8:35 p.m.; Seattle, 9:51 p.m.
How’s the weather?
Right now, the weather in Jersey City looks A-okay: bright and sunny with clouds. Unfortunately, the forecast says we’re going to have thunderstorm this afternoon onwards. This is the day when you wish the forecast is completely inaccurate. So save your raindance for the summer.

Before you head out of office or school to beat the rush hour, here’s a random video I’d like to share with you. Since Jersey City is an art-loving town, I opted to share an awesome clip showing the step-by-step digital painting of Albert Einstein.
Even if you are not an art and/or digital painting fan, I’m sure you’ll enjoy this cool video.
If you liked it, watch another one by clicking the rest of the entry and see Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) of Pirates of Carribean!
I came across this adorable video of baby dancing/bouncing around as the mother (presumably) plays the banjo.
Since it’s Friday anyway, I thought of sharing this with you to somehow cheer you up before you try and beat the rush hour later.
Here is the direct link in case the video doesn’t embed properly:

Since it’s a slow news day here in Jersey City, here is a random video for you before I go back to normal posting tomorrow:
Would you ride this car? It seems like it still brings the driver from point A to B.
Which is safer: riding this car or recording it? (I have an answer)
