This coming Friday – March 06, 2009 – is the first of four JCFridays this year. If you still don’t know it yet, JCFridays is a quarterly city-wide event here in Jersey City, held on the first Friday at the start of every season. JCFridays is an exhibition of culture and arts in JC filled with fun and educational programs that are open for public.

There are more than 25 events in Jersey City. One of them is JC Museum‘s at The Majestic where they will hold an Opening Reception for an exhibition featuring recent works by Jersey City artist Jade Kuei. On the other hand, 58 Gallery in Hamilton Park will hold an Opening Reception for “Ides of March,” works by Thomas John Carlson.

Go to JCFridays Official site to plan your JCFridays schedule. The committe did a great job of categorizing it by neighborhood, so it’s now easier to make your own itinerary.

The next JC Fridays will be held on Friday, June 5th, 2009
