A five-alarm fire spread from 272 St. Paul’s Avenue, Jersey City yesterday (May 11, 2008), “burned four homes, destroying two of them and forcing the relocation of 26 people….” according to the news.
It was an unfortunate accident during Mother’s Day, and it took several hours to bring the fire under control. [...]

Just saw on the news that subway train (N Train) got derailed near 57th Street and 7th Street in New York. No passengers were reportedly injured, but paramedics still arrived quickly. CBS News said that train services appear to resume its normal schedule.
