Feeling generous and helpful this Thanksgiving Holiday? You can help serve some food for the needy when St. Paul Lutheran Church on Hoboken Avenue (off Five Corners, Journal Square, Jersey City) serve some Thanksgiving Food for the needy!

With the generous support of United Way of Hudson County, the Sharing Place at St. Paul Lutheran Church will be serving a feast for our needy neighbors on Thanksgiving Day. Turkey and all the trimmings will be served in several shifts from 10 am to 2 pm on November 26. Helping to serve this dinner would be a good way to express thanks for what you have! Contact the Sharing Place director to volunteer.

Regular Sharing Place distribution of groceries will take place as usual on the last two Saturdays of the month, November 21 and 28.

  • Hello everybody, it’s Thanksgiving Day! I’m happy with my extra day off, and I am planning to make something fun that’ll probably involve a bike ride and seeing something new in Rice Lake I haven’t seen yet.
