Two Jersey City Festivals This Weekend
Let’s hope for a good weather this weekend as there will be two ethnic festivals here in Jersey City.
This Saturday (June 27, 2009), the Egyptian Festival will feature traditional Egyptian music and dance, such as the “horse dance,” and children’s entertainment in Journal Square.
On Sunday (June 28, 2009) in Downtown, Jersey City, Filipinos will celebrate the 61 years of friendship between the Philippines and the United States of America. After the Grand Parade, expect fascinating floats, marching bands, health fair, music entertainment, foods galore, arts crafts, and of course, the Grand Finals of Filipino Idol 2009.
