Before buying - I called Verizon, and went online - and the truth is, the deal mark was offering was better.  I got a $250 gift card on top of the same price I would have paid if i signed up through the 800 number. Do not listen to him. If you want FIOS contact Verizon directly. They have better promotional offers than his company. He does not actually work for Verizon, he works for a company called 20/20, which is hired by Verizon to go door to door to sell their products.
