This post a bit late, but here’sthe 2009 calendar for Jersey City City Hall and JCPA Parking Rules which I found on JCList and WiredJC.

Street parking rules and street sweeping are suspended for today (January 1). So you do not have to move your car. If you want to be sure, call the Jersey City Parking Authority (JCPA) at (201)653-6969 and if nobody from JCPA is picking up, it means they’re closed and rules are not going to be enforced.

For street sweeping, call the JCIA at (201)432-4645 x 675. You’ll hear a machine telling you the current date, and if sweeping is enforced or not.

I did call, and there will be no street sweeping for today.

November 11 (Wednesday) – Veteran’s Day
November 26 (Thursday) – Thanksgiving Day
November 27 (Friday) – Friday after Thanksgiving
December 25 (Friday) – Christmas Day
