Have You Tried the Meatballs at Casa Dante?

Casa Dante - Meatballs, bread, salad

Laryssa, a 23-year old blogger, stopped by Casa Dante yesterday and ordered meatballs and salad to go. She said the place was totally different from the outside — “the interior of the restaurant is rather comforting and warm, despite the fact that the furnishings are so gilded and spotless” to quote her.

She ordered Sicilian meatball appetizer (Italian sausage meatballs with pine nuts and raisins in a light marinara sauce, $9) and Insalata con Arugula(arugula with freshly shaved fennel and oranges lightly tossed with extra virgin olive oil and finished with thin slices of parmigiano reggiano, $10). Casa Dante threw in a warm Italian bread to her take-out bag.

Overall, she wrote that she enjoyed the food even though it was quite expensive, and she would definitely go back to try their pasta. Read her full review of the meatballs, which she described as marvelous. (Trackback to her post)

  2. Hi Laryssa, you’re welcome! I like your style. You wrote a descriptive review — I could picture everything in your post. And of course, the photos help, too.

    Well done.
