Lead In Water at 7 Schools

Lead in drinking waterSeven of 335 water sources in seven Jersey City public schools have elevated levels of lead, according to the first results of last month’s water tests by the Jersey City Board of Education (JCBOE). So your might need to give your children their own bottled water if they go to one of those 7 schools in the news.

JCBOE’s letter to the parents is posted here in case you lost your own. It contains the specific details of the test they conducted last month so be sure to read it again.
