BUMP (6:35 PM) : A Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect from 7PM until midnight (1200AM June 05, 2008). New moon will cause a high tide.

…A MODERATELY STRONG SOUTHEASTERLY FLOW TODAY WILL HAVE TIDAL DEPARTURES RISING TO 1/2 TO 1 FT ABOVE NORMAL BY THIS EVENING. THIS IN COMBINATION WITH RELATIVELY HIGH ASTRONOMICAL TIDES WILL RESULT IN MINOR COASTAL FLOODING AROUND THE TIMES OF HIGH TIDE THIS EVENING.

A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY INDICATES THAT ONSHORE WINDS AND TIDES WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE FLOODING OF LOW AREAS ALONG THE SHORE….

Weather is not looking good today in Jersey City as we have rains and thunders through out the day. It’s going to be a little cold today with temperature in the 60’s.

Expect a messy commute; and if you are driving, drive safely and carefully.

This is one of those times when you wish the weather forecast is inaccurate.
