Yankees Merchandise Stolen

Yankees Merchandise Stolen
For illustration purpose only. Not the actual Yankees items.

More than $200,000 – that’s the estimated total amount of the stolen Yankees hats, shirts, and jerseys from Arya Samaj Mandir ministries in Jersey City. The merchandise was donated by the New York Yankees.

The robbery happened last Friday (May 30, 2008 between 2 and 3 a.m.) “…someone entered the Woodlawn Avenue property by cutting a hole in the metal fence in back of the building with a bolt cutter…” which is the garage where the items were stored.

Full news here.

A little tidbit: $200K is less than 10% of A-Rod (Alexander Rodriguez, a Yankee) monthly salary. How much does he earn annually? Do the math. ;)
