Weather: Rainy Tuesday May 27, 2008 (Thunderstorm Alert)

Weather May 27, 2008 Rainy Tuesday; Thunderstorm in Jersey City
The Beacon under thick dark clouds. Taken 6PM today.

BUMP : 615PM

Just updating this post I wrote this morning. Well, the initial forecast early today was inaccurate; we had a nice sunny day today instead of the nasty rain. Anyway, Hudson areas and tri-state are under SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ALERT until 8PM tonight.

The Hour-by-Hour report of National Weather Service says the storm is scattered – we may or may not experience it.

The Beacon was under thick clouds before 6PM today; some 20 minutes later, those clouds had vanished. How accurate do you think is the forecast?

How was your Memorial Day vacation? Hope you had a lot of fun even though it felt short. Now, it’s time to get back to work (or school if you’re still a student).

Unfortunately, after the perfect weather the past 4 days here in Jersey City, we welcome the work day with rain, which, according to forecast, will elevate to thundershowers later today. So bring a strong umbrella with you. Temperature will be in the 70′s, but will drop to mid-60′s at night.

Enjoy your day despite the bad weather! ;)
