Wear Your Seatbelt or Get a Ticket

Jersey City drivers and their passengers need to buckle up when driving around the city. Cops will be ticketing motorists who don’t wear seatbelt to ensure safety.
JC is a 25 mph town, do you think it’s easy for the police to see unbuckled drivers? US 1 & 9 (and I think Route 440) I believe is a 40 mph road. Cops would need bionic eyes to spot the drivers if they’re wearing a seatbelt or not.
… Jersey City police will be focusing on driver safety this holiday weekend by cracking down on unbuckled drivers and passengers as part of the national “Click It or Ticket Campaign,” which will run through June 1, officials said yesterday…
News here.
If you’ll remember, Gov. Corzine’s wasn’t wearing a seatbelt when his SUV crashed into a guardrail on the Garden State Parkway last year.
So drive safely all of you! Which also means no beer for drivers!
Enjoy your holiday!
