Jersey City is a fast-paced town and JC residents deserve a break sometime. For a super-busy career person, a weekend is the perfect time to unwind.

However, due to our personal chores that we are required to do, the week’s over before we even know it. We can only hope we have “extra hands” to do those things so we can keep our weekend.

Enter Tara Achenbach.

She started an errand service couple of months ago to help people ease their burden and enjoy the weekend they rightfully deserve.

I personally think Tara’s idea is smart, as she addresses the needs of the residents, especially those living in downtown JC and neighboring areas like Hoboken.

Hopefully, her business grows rapidly so she can also serve other JC areas like JSQ (where I live in).

NEW CONCIERGE SERVICE ALLOWS DOWNTOWN JC AND HOBOKEN RESIDENTS TO KEEP THEIR WEEKENDS

From picking up parcel packages to the daunting task of applying for a parking permit to virtually any other errand occupying free time, these are just some of the services offered by Keep Your Weekend, a new concierge service available to downtown Jersey City and Hoboken residents. In a day and age where people work longer hours, commute longer distances, and take fewer vacation days, Keep Your Weekend offers people the opportunity to enjoy their free time without the hassle of everyday “chores.”

How many times have you found yourself saying, if only there were more hours in the day? Or, I could get it all done if only I had another set of hands. This new business was created to alleviate your worries.

Their services also highlight the green aspect of consolidated shopping. Instead of multiple cars traveling to the grocery store on the weekend, their business will send one gas efficient car a day to shop for all their customers. What this equates to in the long run is less gas usage overall, and lower emissions by using a one vehicle instead of multiple vehicles.
