Robbery in Downtown

Robbery in Downtown Jersey City
Non-clickable map does not depict actual location of the scene.

On the other side of Montgomery Street — in Downtown, Jersey City — a man walking near Van Vorst Park past 1AM was robbed by two juvenile teenagers.

The Wayne Street resident was approached by two juveniles when he was at Montgomery and Jersey Avenue. “One of the boys stood in front of him while the other rifled through his pockets,” reports said. “The robbers fled in different directions.” police said in nj.com news.

One 16-year old suspect was arrested. The other one? I guess still at large.

One question though: Why were these kids allowed to go strolling in the middle of the night? * wondering *
