Ever saw a TIME Magazine in some Jersey City news stand?

TIME Magazine’s May 2008 Cover features a split image of Democrat presidential hopefuls Barrack Obama and Hillary Clinton. The caption on this website says the cover is inspired by NBA Playoffs 2008 “There can Only Be One” Commercial.

Below is the 40-second video of Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’neal commercial pair. This is the first of the series. What makes this special is their history. The two players had turbulent relationships off-the-court, and used the media to channel their differences.

As an NBA fan, I found the commercial awesome. What do you think of TIME Magazine imitating it?
