Global Green Expo 2008 @ Liberty State Park

Global Green Expo 2008 @ Liberty State Park, Jersey City

Looking for Jersey City activity this weekend? There’s one that started yesterday April 25, 2008 at Liberty State Park. It’s called Global Green Expo 2008, and it will run until tomorrow (April 27, 2008).

As it appears on the website, PSEG seems to be the major sponsor of this event. This is aimed for people and businesses who are concerned about our environment — or in a larger scale — our planet.

What’s nice about this activity is that kids and teenagers can participate in all the fun. There are dedicated time slots, but of course, you have to register hours before the event takes place.

…Providing information and inspiration for taking action regarding global environmental issues to consumers, business professionals, public and private agencies and corporations, the PSEG Global Green Expo intends to help people learn what can be done — right now — to turn the tide.
….
Most importantly, this event is designed to impart inspiration in the form of a gathering of interested, informed people committed to doing their part in protecting our planet. We invite you to join with others who believe that this kind of change is possible…

However, you need to purchase tickets to go to the festival. Tickets are good for any one day (unless a multi-day pass is purchased).

For more information about this event, like schedules and speakers, visit their website at http://www.globalgreen2008.com/
