Cheap Gas Price on Garden State Parkway, NJ

$2.77 gas price 2 months ago. When will we see it again?
$2.77 gas price in Jersey City 2 months ago. When will we see it again?

You probably know that – again, NJ has the cheapest gas price ($3.365) in the country, way below than the national average of $3.56 per gallon.

But where do you go and find gas stations with cheap gas prices?

I just saw on CBS 6PM news that cars lined up at gas stations on the toll roads of Garden State Parkway. The gas price: $3.17. It is 34c less than NY. Too low that even out-of-state motorists like Mitch Stephen of Manhattan, NY drove out of his way to fill up his car tank with fuel. Do you think the price is worth all the travel and trouble?

Unfortunately, NJ Turnpike Authority Joe Orlando said that $3.17 price will jump 22c tomorrow (Friday) morning, making it $3.39. He added that on the Garden State Parkway, toll road gas stations are allowed to increase prices only once a week.

See the photo above? It was taken 2 months ago, and the cheapest gas price here in Jersey City was $2.77 at ULTRA TRUCK/GAS STATION. Fast forward to today, it’s climbing fast to $4.

2 months from now, what gas price do you think will we see: $3 or $5?
