Were you at the Liberty State Park, Jersey City yesterday? I’ve read there were physical activities like running and sprinting sponsored by the Red Cross.

I think this is an annual fundraising project by the organization, so if you plan to join next year, bookmark this webpage for your perusal: essential2liferace.org. By the way, it’s not free. Registration fees yesterday were $20 for adults and $5 for children 11 and under.

Nj.com reported this a little late yesterday, hopefully a lot of people were able to support the activity.

…Featuring a flat course with views of the Statue of Liberty and Manhattan skyline, the event also will include a D.J. and live band, prizes, refreshments, educational displays by participating companies, and more. Friends and families are encouraged to support runners and walkers to help raise funds for the Red Cross…

If you were at Liberty State Park yesterday, feel free to share some photos. We would like to see them. ;)
