Weather: 50, 60, 70 After the FOG – April 10, 2008

Weather Jersey City April 10, 2008 Foggy
Foggy outside my window

It was foggy outside my window, and the picture above (taken at 640AM) doesn’t do justice to how foggy it really was. Anyway, today will be mostly cloudy. And the temperature will rise in Jersey City as the day progresses. It will start in the 50′s, will rise to 60′s. Will it hit 70′s? We’ll never know.

Severe Weather Alert (FOG-related) if you read the rest….

A LIGHT ONSHORE FLOW OF COOL MARITIME AIR IS PRODUCING AREAS OF FOG EARLY THIS MORNING. THE FOG IS LOCALLY DENSE…ESPECIALLY NEAR BODIES OF WATER AND IN THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS. EARLY MORNING TRAVELERS SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR SUDDEN REDUCTIONS IN VISIBILITY…USE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS… BE ESPECIALLY ALERT FOR PEDESTRIANS AND OTHER VEHICLES ON THE ROAD…AND ALLOW EXTRA BRAKING DISTANCE.

THE FOG SHOULD START TO BURN OFF AFTER ABOUT 8 AM…AS A COLD FRONT ENTERS THE REGION AND USHERS IN A DRIER AIR MASS.
