Pappi’s Chain Indecision at Barrow Street and Newark Avenue

Pappi’s Chain Indecision at Barrow Street and Newark Avenue
Looks like Jersey City local street artist Pappi had a hard time installing his newest art sculpture which he calls “Chain Indecision“. It is at the intersection of Barrow Street and Newark Avenue, in Downtown JC, if you want to see it in person.
So, what’s with the name? He said “Not only is it an indecision of lines it is an indecision of motion vs. stillness.” as it continues to rock back and forth when the wind blows. It is quite big, and the installation went quietly but a few people saw him according to his email:
As I was getting it out of the car: “Whoa…be careful. Wow, what is that?”
…. another guy walked by and said “It is beautiful, right?”
…. The third was a person in a hurry, “What are you taking… (looks up) cool!” (then keeps on walking and almost gets hit by a car. The car saw him but he didn’t see the car.)
More pictures if you read the rest….
