My mother always tells me that I always leave the lights on even when they are not in use. So when I read about this event, I thought the article is asking something from me. :P

Several cities around the world will turn their lights off tonight between 8pm – 9pm for the Earth Hour. Even New Jersey participates in this kind of event to support the mission of Earthhourus.org, which is to conserve energy and to help make a statement about climate change.

Here’s The Earth Hour U.S.’s invitation posted on their website:

…On March 29, 2008 at 8 p.m., join millions of people around the world in making a statement about climate change by turning off your lights for Earth Hour, an event created by the World Wildlife Fund

This is the perfect time for me to show I care about electricity, energy, and climate changes. How about you?
