The Governors of Affairs

The latest to admit of having an affair is the newly-assigned NY Governor David Paterson. According to the radio news I had heard on my way to work, the extramarital affair started around 1999 and lasted for 3 years. It is two-way however, as his wife Michele was also involved in a separate infidel. They were able to heal their marriage and turn things around for the better, though. More on NYPost.com.
In a span of less than two weeks, there were surprising admissions and revelations that NY and NJ residents learned. The most famous thus far: Ex-NY Governor Spitzer and his involvement with a prostitute Ashley Alexandra Dupre. It was so huge of a news it destroyed his political career, and probably his marriage, too. Meanwhile, the young Dupre is gaining some 15-minutes of fame.
Just this weekend, a certain Theodore Pedersen came out of the blue and claimed that he had threesome intercourse with ex-NJ Governor James McGreevey and his wife Dina Matos McGreevey. How fabulous.
Remember, Dina filed divorce after feeling betrayed by her husband when the latter admitted he is gay.
Is Theodore (or Ted, or Teddy to both of the McGreeveys?) just cashing in? Was he paid by James McGreevey to ruin the credibility of Dina? Dina says the allegations were not true, but James disagrees. Don’t you love politics?
So, I ask: who’s next to admit?
Are we going to be surprised if the incumbent NJ Governor Jon Corzine admits he’s also having an affair? Do you – Jersey City residents – really care about all these?
