Bomb Threat @ Sheriff’s Office Administration Bldg (Newark Avenue)

While doing a search, I saw on one blog that there was bomb threat at Hudson County Sheriff’s Office Administration Building this morning, March 10, 2008.

Image map does not depict actual location.

However, no local newspaper has picked up the story yet. So I am just rehashing what I had read from the blog.

Spokesman Jim Kennelly, said that after police investigation that started around 9AM, they could not find evidences of a bomb in the 9-story building. Everyone in the building had to evacuate including Prosecutor Edward DeFazio. During the 3-hour search with sniffing dogs utilized, they closed four streets that included Newark Avenue, Baldwin Avenue, Oakland Avenue, and Summit Avenue.

Did anyone hear about this?
