Long retired, the Colgate Clock in Jersey City sits in a weedy field by the Morris Canal. Life goes on in Lower Manhattan on a dreary winter day as the World Trade Center grows taller. Weather: Sunny and Windy March 9, 2008

Sunny and Windy Jersey City March 9, 2008 - The Beacon in the background
Look at the blue sky! The Beacon on Montgomery Street in the background (840AM) .

The view outside my window looks beautiful. “Purdee” as they say it. But it’s going to be windy today, with winds going at low 20′s mph from W. So for those going to (or just watching) the St. Pat’s Day parade, expect a cool and windy condition.

Temperature is in 30′s to low 40′s, but it’s going to feel like in the 20′s. Oh, and be safe! I saw in the news that there were flying debris due to strong winds last night so avoid construction sites.

To all Jersey City residents, enjoy your day!
