Salt and Pepper Grill – Kennedy Blvd, JC

Salt and Pepper - Front

I was intrigued when someone from Jersey City List (JCList) Forum asked about this new grill that opened last December so I decided to take a look at the place to see what’s up. I didn’t intend to order so I just took a couple of pictures and decided to go inside.

I was warmly greeted by a guy at the counter (presumably the owner) and so I asked for a menu.

Read on to see their lunch special for today….

As you can see in the picture (top-most), this is a HALAL Food/Meat grill. They have “Famous Falafel”, various chicken sandwiches, Kababs, Salads, Fish (Tilapia, Salmon, etc.), and Platters and Combos.

Since I didn’t intend to order anything (not a fan of Halal, no offense here), I went on to leave, but not after asking the guy if they deliver to downtown JC. He gave me a smile and said “If the order is good, I’ll deliver it myself.

Have you been to this place? What can you say about it?
