Salt and Pepper Grill – Kennedy Blvd, JC
I was intrigued when someone from Jersey City List (JCList) Forum asked about this new grill that opened last December so I decided to take a look at the place to see what’s up. I didn’t intend to order so I just took a couple of pictures and decided to go inside.
I was warmly greeted by a guy at the counter (presumably the owner) and so I asked for a menu.
Read on to see their lunch special for today….
Lunch Special
As you can see in the picture (top-most), this is a HALAL Food/Meat grill. They have “Famous Falafel”, various chicken sandwiches, Kababs, Salads, Fish (Tilapia, Salmon, etc.), and Platters and Combos.
Since I didn’t intend to order anything (not a fan of Halal, no offense here), I went on to leave, but not after asking the guy if they deliver to downtown JC. He gave me a smile and said “If the order is good, I’ll deliver it myself.”

I’ve been to the place several times…as a matter of fact i was there today for lunch…Their grilled chicken salads are great and the Pacora, I’m sure I’m spelling int wrong are delicious…I first had them when I went to the place for the first time and the “owner” had me try some. I give the place 4 out of 5. Worth a try~

we really liked the authentic food at this joint. The soups are really good in here. and so is the grill. we have paid multiple visits since we came to know about the place. worth the money.
Great food and the great customer service
