Long retired, the Colgate Clock in Jersey City sits in a weedy field by the Morris Canal. Life goes on in Lower Manhattan on a dreary winter day as the World Trade Center grows taller. Messy Winter Storm Tomorrow?

It’s not going to be good tomorrow, according to meteorologists. National Weather Service reports that it’s going to snow, and accumulations will be from 2-4 inches in our area.

If the forecast is accurate, then be careful when you go out to school or to work tomorrow. Allow extra time for commute, as motorists will be driving slowly (should be!). It will be slippery as the snow will be mixed with sleet in the afternoon.

I wonder if Jersey City schools will be open tomorrow. We’ll find out in the morning, so stay tuned!
