Jersey City Photos

Long retired, the Colgate Clock in Jersey City sits in a weedy field by the Morris Canal. Life goes on in Lower Manhattan on a dreary winter day as the World Trade Center grows taller. Total LUNAR Eclipse on Feb. 20, 2008

A Professional Development Specialist from Steven’s Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ emailed me this scientific event and I thought of sharing it with all of you, just in case you are interested.

Have you seen an eclipse before? I had seen quite a few when I was younger, and now here’s another chance.

NASA reported 3 days ago that a total Lunar Eclipse will happen on February 20th this year and will be seen not only in Jersey City but all over America. Best viewing time is at 10:26PM EST.

Below is preview of the eclipse created by a graphic artist Larry Koehn.

Hopefully, we have a clear sky that day. Are you going out to watch it? Let us know.
